"I was intrigued by the almost perfect mirroring of the fall colors against the water. I also found the gradation of shading in the water, from the deep blue at the bottom to the lighter shade near the top, to be an interesting challenge for painting. I offered this piece for sale to benefit friends of Radnor Lake, but it did not sell."
