"This painting was done several years after our trip to Greece in 2006 for the solar eclipse. Somewhere, I have notes on my photos that indicate the exact location, though I’m thinking it’s in Crete. For some reason, Linda was going through some photos and commented on how nice the picture was, which inspired me to paint it."
